Susanne Eules is a poet, writer, performer, artist and translator living in DeLand, Florida. She is the author of two German poetry collections der kønig.innen hasen hůten (herding the queens’ hares), edition art science, Austria, November 2106  and ůbern růckn des atlantiks/den rand des nachmittags (across the ridge of the atlantic/the edge of the afternoon) published at FIXPOETRY.verlag, Hamburg, March 2012. She has published in literary venues in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the US. For her poetry and prose, she has received various grants and literary awards in Germany and in the US.German born, Susanne Eules received aPhD in German Studies, with a minor in Art History and Musicology from the Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg/Br. in 1990 and a MA in education from the University of Pedagogy, Freiburg, Germany, in 2000. After researching, conceptualizing and designing museums, and working as a director of contemporary art galleries, she also taught Italian, German language, literature and culture and Gender Studies at private universities in Central Florida and continues to teach workshops and interdisciplinary courses of Creative Writing, Art History and Gender Studies.
